Bookmakers at Boda8
The official sports tab carries five bookmakers, and each one covers the market slightly differently: CMD368, BTi Sports, SBOBet, Maxbet / IBC Sports and M9bet Sports. Here is what each is good for.
CMD368
The widest match list on the tab - big-league football and basketball on easy-to-read boards.
BTi Sports
Live markets and Asian basketball, with the in-play board moving faster than the rest.
SBOBet
The long-running Asian handicap specialist, pricing football, other sports and racing.
Maxbet / IBC Sports
Asian and European views of the same match, so the two price styles can be compared side by side.
M9bet Sports
The compact book on the tab - the main leagues and markets without the deepest boards.
The sportsbook brands
Boda8's sportsbook is powered by established bookmakers rather than a single in-house feed, and the Malaysian sports tab lists five: CMD368, BTi Sports, SBOBet, Maxbet / IBC Sports and M9bet Sports. They cover the same sports with different market depth and pricing, so comparing them on one match is worthwhile - CMD368 and BTi show the deepest Asian handicap boards, SBOBet and Maxbet are the long-running names, and M9bet is the compact alternative.
Sports covered
- Football - the deepest market, from European leagues to local and Asian competitions.
- Badminton - a Malaysian staple with singles, doubles and tournament markets.
- Sepak takraw - featured alongside other regional sports.
- Basketball, tennis and other international events appear on the live boards by season.
Markets and odds style
Asian handicap is the house style: one side is given a virtual head start, which removes the draw from most football bets. Around it sit 1X2, over/under, correct score and live in-play markets. Odds move with the match, so the price you see at kick-off is rarely the price at full time.
Score, Live TV and Esports
Three companion sections sit beside the sportsbook. Score tracks fixtures and live match progress next to the odds, Live TV streams the events the bookmaker feeds carry, and Esports runs on the IM Esports platform. Score and streaming live inside the sportsbook view, so what you see depends on the event, the feed and your account; esports events rotate with the competitive calendar, and the esports books appear in the sports tab itself.
Getting started
- Register and complete mobile verification: register guide.
- Deposit, then open the sportsbook and choose a brand such as CMD368 or SBOBet.
- Compare the odds across brands for the same match - prices differ between feeds.
- Start with single bets and small stakes while you learn the market layout.
Deposits and withdrawals run through the same cashier as the rest of the lobby - local channels and payout times are listed there - and any welcome offer that applies to sports is on the promotions page. If you have not opened the account yet, the register and login guide walks through it, and everything else in the lobby is mapped in the games hub.
Sports betting discipline
- Set a weekly betting budget and track it separately from casino play.
- In-play odds move fast - confirm the price before confirming the bet.
- Never chase a lost accumulator with a bigger stake.
Quick questions
Which bookmakers are behind the Boda8 sportsbook?
Five: CMD368, BTi Sports, SBOBet, Maxbet / IBC Sports and M9bet Sports. Each one covers the same sports with a slightly different market depth and price, so it is worth comparing them on the match you want to back.
What is Asian handicap?
It is the house style for football here: one side is given a virtual head start so the match can be backed without the draw. The same market shape carries across to basketball and the other sports.
Can I follow a match while I bet on it?
Yes. The Score view tracks fixtures and match progress beside the odds, and Live TV streams the events the bookmaker feeds carry. Both are explained in the live TV and live scores guide.
How do I compare the five bookmakers?
Open the same match under two books and compare the handicap line and the price - the feeds set their own margins, so they rarely agree. CMD368 and BTi usually offer the deepest boards, SBOBet and Maxbet the widest coverage of minor leagues, and M9bet the simplest layout.
What happens if a match is postponed or abandoned?
It depends on the bookmaker's rules, which are shown on the bet slip before you confirm. Most Asian handicap and over/under bets are voided and the stake returned if the match is not played on the scheduled day - but check the rule that applies to the market you picked.
